The ongoing fighting in Gaza is leading to a humanitarian crisis, and the entire medical infrastructure has collapsed. Hospitals report numerous amputations that require treatment. Ottobock and the Ottobock Global Foundation work together to help children who have lost their limbs in the attacks.
The Ottobock Global Foundation has launched the donation campaign “People in need – Help for the children of Gaza” to provide injured young people with medical technology treatment. The proximity to Ottobock with a global care network and partnerships with international aid organisations have made it possible to remove the first children from the crisis region and treat them in a safe environment.
Christin Franzel, Member of the Executive Board of the Ottobock Global FoundationIn order to give disabled children in Gaza new hope, we want to fit as many of them as possible with prostheses in a safe environment.
