Help for people in crisis areas
Ottobock and the Ottobock Global Foundation are supporting with reliefand donation campaigns to provide as many invalid people as possible with orthopaedic devices.
The war in Ukraine, the aftermath of the earthquake in Turkey and the devastating situation in the Gaza Strip are currently affecting thousands of innocent people. Countless injured people depend on medical technology devices. Together, Ottobock and the Ottobock Global Foundation are doing their utmost to expand the orthopaedic technology infrastructure in crisis areas and to provide as many disabled persons as possible with prostheses, orthoses and wheelchairs.
Ottobock is supporting the relief campaigns with its technical expertise by transferring knowledge to counteract the shortage of skilled workers in crisis regions. In addition, the medtech company equips workshop and Patient Care containers for fittings directly on site. The Ottobock Global Foundation uses donations to finance medical devices and fittings, especially for children and adolescents in distress. In doing so, Ottobock and the Ottobock Global Foundation rely on a global care network and partnerships with international aid organisations.

Current projects
Help for the children of Gaza
The ongoing fighting in Gaza is leading to a humanitarian crisis, and the entire medical infrastructure has collapsed. Ottobock and the Ottobock Global Foundation want to work together to help children who have lost their limbs in the attacks.
