Ottobock supported athletes at the Paralympic Winter Games in Beijing 2022
The 13th Paralympic Winter Games took place from 4 - 13 March 2022. A total of 78 different competitions were held across six sports. Continuing the long standing partnership with the Paralympic Games since 1988, Ottobock was the Official Technical Service Provider for the Beijing Games and offered free maintenance and repair services for athletes.

Ottobock at the Paralympic Winter Games
With a team of 41 team members from 12 different countries, a comprehensive Technical Service was offered across the three Paralympic villages in Beijing, Yanqing and Zhangjiakou as well as in four sports venues. The service was free of charge and regardless of the manufacturer of the equipment.
Overall, 384 repairs were carried out:
Wheelchairs: 173 repairs
Prostheses: 97 repairs
Orthoses: 10 repairs
Sports equipment & others: 104 repairs
