The second season of Ottobock’s podcast Taste of Bionics explores these questions where medical innovation, artificial intelligence, and human experience intersect. The new season is hosted by Sarah de Lagarde, who knows bionics from personal experience. In 2022, she survived a serious accident and has been living with an arm and a leg prosthesis ever since.

“I am 80 percent human and 20 percent technology. This sentence describes how I view bionics: not as an abstract topic of the future, but as part of my everyday life,” says Sarah de Lagarde. “In Taste of Bionics, I speak with people who are pushing the boundaries of technology and inclusion. She speaks with international experts and thought leaders about current developments at the intersection of humans and machines. Through her work as a Brighter Future Strategist at Janus Henderson Investors, Sarah brings a distinctly future-focused perspective to the podcast. She explores not only what is technologically possible, but also how innovation can help address societal challenges and create new opportunities for future generations.
