“Sarik Weber is an experienced expert with an entrepreneurial mindset, and I am delighted to have him on the team as well. His task is to oversee the digital transformation within the company and drive it forward. To this end, he will be focusing our approximately 30 ongoing projects and ensuring that they are transparent,” says Dr Scheel.

Weber is not only a proven marketing and sales pro with international experience, but also an outstanding player on Germany’s start-up and digitalisation scene. Among other things, the Hamburg native founded start-up generator Hanse Ventures and helped to build up the Xing career portal and launch it on the stock market.

As CDO, Weber will be shaping the company’s digital agenda together with Heiko Reinhard (40), who previously served as the CEO of IT service provider Sycor in America and as IT Director North America at Ottobock and is now assuming the role of CIO (Chief Information Officer). Their work will centre on projects that are critical to Ottobock’s success with a focus on marketing and sales.
