Together with other regional companies, Ottobock was awarded the title of TOP Employer Southern Lower Saxony (TOPAS) by the Göttingen branch of the Hanover Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the SüdniedersachsenStiftung. The award underlines Ottobock's commitment to continuous improvement and sustainable development as an employer. 

The German Sustainability Award (DNP) is considered one of the most important recognitions for sustainable development in Europe. Ottobock has been awarded the prize for its achievements in sustainability in the medical technology sector.

The Deloitte's award is a competition and seal of approval for successful medium-sized companies operating internationally.

With an overall score of 81 per cent, Ottobock is one of the pioneers in the economy who have recognised the importance of transparent sustainability reporting and successfully put it into practice. The company has now been presented with the ESG Transparency Award for this commitment.

The Austrian business platform StEP-Up recognized Otto Bock Healthcare Products GmbH (OBHCP) as a Lean Management Leader for its exemplary lean management. "The company has made a major contribution to the exchange of experience within its Lean Circle Group," emphasizes the board of the corporate platform.

The award in the category "Artificial Intelligence" recognises the myosmart project for the speedhand solution and the new Myo control system: a modular online training course that combines technical knowledge, application scenarios and patient-oriented aspects while serving as a reference book. AI-supported tools supported translations and terminologies.

The Tiffany Award recognises the strategic approach of making learning standardly accessible and scalable with myLearning, Ottobock's global learning platform for clinical training and product certification. The platform centrally bundles training, learning pathways and certifications, automates verification processes, and links evrything seamlessly with Ottobock's digital system landscape.

During the ISPO World Congress, Dr Thomas Schmalz was recognised with the Best Paper Award in the category "Advancing P&O" for the study project examining the effects of using exoskeletons during long-term lifting activities.

Ottobock was honoured with the prestigious MATERIALICA Design + Technology Award in the ‘Process’ category at eMove360° Europe 2024. The award honors our innovative process of using the GreenLine flax fibers to create safe orthopedic aids, such as sockets, through a custom-developed laying plan.

The prestigious Howard R. Thranhardt Award honors outstanding achievements in clinical O&P research. The American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association (AOPA) presented Ottobock with two awards in 2024: for the international C-Brace Register and for the clinical research on the Kenevo microprocessor-controlled knee joint.

Ottobock’s designers received the 2024 Austrian National Design Prize for their outstanding design achievements for the innovative Skeo Up Daily Assist functional aid.

The Ottobock brand was recognized as the Winner in the “Brand Relaunch” category. The award honors not only the creative rebranding but also the strategic depth with which the Ottobock brand was evolved.

Ottobock received several awards for its outstanding creative achievements: The campaign “The Unofficial Discipline” was awarded with gold in the “Brand Communications” category and silver in “Cross-Media Campaign”. The moving documentary series “New Boundaries” won the bronze nail in the “Video Content Series” category.

"The Unofficial Discipline" won silver in the "Agenda Setting & Cutting" category and two more bronze recognitions in "Influencer Relations" and "Media Relations" for its communication activities during the 2024 Paralympic Summer Games.

Double gold for the #IAmAMountain brand campaign. The Comprix Award honors exceptional creative work for pharmaceutical and healthcare communication in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Ottobock received awards in the categories “MEDICAL DEVICES – Integrated Campaign” and “Image Advertising”.

Ottobock won the German prize in the “Digital for Good” category for its #IAmAMountain campaign. The jury's reasoning: The campaign is authentic and highly emotional, it brings an important issue to the fore – the visibility of people with disabilities.

#IAmAMountain is the most successful winning project of the DPOK 2024 with three awards. The Ottobock campaign won in three categories: participatory campaign, brand communications and influencer communications.
