Tried many sports and chose athletics
Amanda started doing sports when she was five years old. She did rhythmic gymnastics, soccer and handball until she was eleven years old.
Then she turned to athletics and found her sport which she loves the most.

Aspiring to do more
At the age of 18, she competed at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games and finished fourth in the 400 metres in her T47 classification.
Three years later, at the Parapan American Games in Lima 2019, she won the silver medal in the T47 400 metres.
Her training focused on the Paralympic Games in Tokyo, where she finished in the top 10 in the 400 metres.
