Open House at the Ottobock Science Center Berlin

To celebrate the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, the Ottobock Science Center in Berlin is hosting an open house with snacks and drinks on Saturday, 10 September 2016 from 12 to 6pm.

From public screenings where you can cheer on the athletes in Rio and Brazilian flair at the performances of the "Copacabana Samoashow Berlin" samba dance group, to the opportunity to test your own fitness in a 100m wheelchair race, the open house offers exciting and entertaining glimpses into the world of Paralympic sports – for children and adults alike.

Under the motto "Passion for Paralympics", the Ottobock Science Center in Berlin is currently presenting a special exhibition about the athletes, the technology, and Ottobock's involvement in the Paralympic Games since 1988. The global market leader in prosthetics has been providing technical service during the Paralympic Games for over 25 years. A 100-member team has travelled to Rio this year to look after the athletes' equipment. On this day, the public can explore the special exhibition at the Berlin location with a free tour.

Visitors can also look forward to many other activities as well as access to areas of the Ottobock Science Center Berlin which are not normally open to the public, such as the panorama roof terrace with views over Berlin, the event section and the patient care department.

Get in quick: the first 100 visitors will receive a small gift!

Free admission.
